Our daughter Julie is about to turn 48
Doesn't seem possible, but Saturday our Jules has a birthday. 48. Doesn't look it and doesn't seem possible but I did the math and it is true. Here are a few reasons she is amazing.
She is an overcomer. Bad first marriage. Lots of abuse. Trying to protect her kids. And now she is married to Tim. Happy. Her kids are remarkable. She managed, with the help of God and her family, to raise kids who are kind, smart, and want to follow Jesus.
She is a good friend, Mom, wife, daughter, and co-worker. It is always special to have someone brag on your daughter when they know her and find out you are her Dad. And that happens often.
She is evidently a really good nurse. In demand. Makes a good living. Loves her work. She does pre-op screening now and a few times when I have been at the hospital I have got to hear her. She is kind, helpful, personable, and reassuring.
She fights for her faith. Never gave up on trying to follow Jesus. Had her share of struggles. Some her fault, some from others. But she never quit on Jesus.
Maybe that is why I love her so much. She is a faith fighter who never gives up.
Thank you God for our Jules. Bless her and Tim. Bless her kids. And bless her. Do great things thru her and with her for your Kingdom.
